They take children to train in Kuksool from the age of 4 upwards.
Children’s Duck Fancy dress competition 2PM
This will take place at 2pm and will be judged by one of the radio
Broadland presenters.
There will be 2 categories
Under 7’s and Under 14’s
Best impression of crazy yellow duck – are you quackers enough
to take on this challenge?
No props please – Just your crazy self - giving it your biggest,
funniest best quack.
Prizes will include a goodie bag full of official Duck Race merchandise
including the latest Duck Race t-shirt.
Waveney Water Lions, 2.15 PM
A display of retrieving from the water by Leonberger dogs including
the rescue of two people from the river.
A Fire safety display from Suffolk Fire Service
Entertainment from the Radio Broadland Road show

James Paget Hospital Car Raffle (All proceeds will be given to the
James Paget Hospitals appeal – Palliative Care East )
More Duck Race day fun
Large number of local charity stalls
Numerous food stalls – Crepes, Ice Cream, Chocolate Fountain,
Do-nuts, Hot Dogs, Beef burgers, tea/coffee and much much more.
There will also be a beer tent, supplying a wide range of beverages
to suit everyone’s needs – a selection of lagers, bitters,
ciders and alco-pops as well as a selection of wines, mixers and
soft drinks.
Several local businesses will have stands for visitors to walk around
and pick up information.
In addition to this there will be children’s rides, games,
bouncy castles and face painters to keep the children occupied.
